Three gentle giants of Leicester’s singer-songwriter scene play in solo and in various combinations to make a very special night of magical songs, peerless musicianship and a laugh or two no doubt.
Multi-instrumentalist, genre-hopping Chris Conway will play a solo warm up set to promote his latest album We’re All Astronauts and to celebrabrate 25 years since his debut solo album Sounds Like Rain was released.

Andy has become a real heart of the Leicester acoustic scene, running the Monday night sessions at The Black Horse for several years. He writes the most wonderful melodic, lilting songs, often compared the James Taylor, which got the attention of Sally Barker who recorded one them.
He’s opened for Sally, plus Dick Gaughan, Boo Hewerdine, Ashley Hutchings, Clive Gregson, Rod Clements, and many times for Chris Conway & Dan Britton!
His 4th and most recent album Big Red Monster got rave reviews in the music press. Another is planned this year.

Chris Conway & Dan Britton
Blending a West Coast US sound with touches of Celtic and jazz, Chris Conway and Dan Britton are a powerful multi-instrumental duo of singer-songwriters who have played together for 27 years. Their 4th album Wonder has just been released.
Together they have supported Bob Geldof, Jefferson Starship, Country Joe McDonald, and Roy Wood. As well as their solo careers they are also part of the popular Celtic band Govannen, who have sold 15,000 albums worldwide.
Making a full band sound between them, with guitars, keyboards, Irish whistles, and kalimba, there is a seamless blend that only such a long association brings.
