Concert special – the exceptional Hickman and Quinn
Appearing on Wednesday 16th February 2011, the dynamic duo from Shrewsbury played folk and roots original and traditional songs.
James Hickman and Chris Quinn share lead and backup roles on guitar and vocals as they play their exciting array of material that draws its influences from Britain, Ireland and America. With special guest Si Hayden.
They have recently released the album “Times”, co-produced by Andy Bell (Seasick Steve and K. T. Tunstall). It’s a powerful collection of original songs that have one foot in the past, one in the future and features Karen Tweed on accordion.
Hickman and Quinn have toured extensively at home and abroad and have opened up for acts like the Jools Holland Orchestra, Katie Melua, Seth Lakeman and the Levellers.
