November Club Night
November’s club night was a week later than usual, being on the second Wednesday of the month.
November 9th 2011 saw the return of the popular club night – featuring some of the finest acoustic folk, rock, jazz and blues musicians and singers in Leicestershire. November’s club night’s special guests are the new 5 piece line up of Borderline Crossing featuring a superb singer from Las Vegas, Chele Willow.
Abigail Alton came down from the North East to play keyboards, guitar and to sing for us.
About club nights
We always have a marvelous array of talent including the likes of Nigel Beck, Bob Tibbetts, Phil Briggs, Chris Tobin (pictured) and Tanya Holloway.
Please come along and join in!
The Hinckley ACT always provides the warmest of welcomes for guest and performers alike. So whether you want to enjoy listening to others (with pint in hand of course!), or would like to come along and share your music with us, we will be delighted to see you.
Many guest performers have become firm favourites at the club, returning time and again to present both original works and cover versions for the appreciative audience.
Book in advance!
Our club nights are becoming so popular with performers that it is a good idea to let us know in advance that you would like a slot for the evening. If you want to come and play, please email Keith London a few days in advance.
Booking and venue details
The entrance fee for the evening was £3 for members and £4 for non-members. The event started at 8 pm, with doors opening at 7.30 p.m.
