Keith London – a celebration

Saturday 2nd November 2013. A sell out audience made it a very special day as we remembered the contribution Hinckley ACT founder Keith London made to the local music scene in Leicestershire.

Featuring Vikki Clayton, Steve Hicks and Lynn Goulbourn and Rob Armstrong and Sheila Rigg – with the added bonus of an “open house” concert in the afternoon.

“Lord” Keith London, along with wife Pam succeeded in setting up one of the most innovative concert facilities available in the Midlands. The 2nd November saw a celebration of his musical life and work. The event was split into two distinct parts. the afternoon “open house” and the special evening concert.

Vikki Clayton Rob Armstrong Lynn Goulbourn Steve Hicks

The afternoon open house – 3 – 6pm

A 3 hour celebration of Keith’s life and the achievements of the Hinckley ACT, with many of the performers that have helped establish it. There was no admission charge for this event, but any donations for Parkinson’s UK were gratefully received.

An amazing array of musicians turned up to add their support – including an unexpected appearance from Brian Willoughby. Every slot was taken and every seat full. Thank you all for your efforts.

The evening celebration – 8pm onwards

This more formal part of the day’s celebrations will feature a spectacular concert, featuring three of the most popular performers ever to appear at the Hinckley ACT – Rob Armstrong and Sheila Rigg, Vikki Clayton and Steve Hicks and Lynn Goulbourn.
